After running a co-op for several years, we knew we wanted science curriculum that had four things:

Biology Student Reader
This curriculum is so well done! It’s beautiful to look at and written in a way that kids can easily understand! Every lesson is written from a biblical world view and includes scripture memory as well. This Biology course is a dream come true for overwhelmed homeschooling parents who don’t always have the time to teach every single subject to their students. The lay out of the lab manual is simple and straightforward so that kids can do it on their own! We love it!
Biology Curriculum
My kids and I are loving this Biology curriculum. It is engaging and fun. The activities and reviews are great. I love how Scripture and a biblical worldview are incorporated. I am doing this with my 2nd-, 5th-, and 6th-graders, and I love that there is a science curriculum I can use with all three. I know it is written for 4th-8th, but my 2nd grader has been doing well with it. He just answers questions orally. I have several science degrees, including a Biology degree, and this is one of my favorite science curricula I have used. The activities are fun and meaningful and add to the lessons. I highly recommend it!
Printed Biology Lab Manual
This is a fantastic supplement to the text book. These are extremely well made and very functional and will be an asset to tracking work and progress. Highly recommend!!
Biology Student Reader
I couldn’t be happier with this text book. It’s very well made, extremely educational, great pictures and best of all it doesn’t contradict God’s Word but instead helps show and explain the amazing details in creation. Highly recommend this and the lab manual. Can’t wait for the next series of books to come out by Karri Iverson!

Do I really need the lab manual?
Yes! You can either order the lab manual printed for you (and 3-holed punched) or print it yourself, but the lab manual is an integral part of The Mystery of Science curriculum. Its purpose is to provide students with experiments, activities and reinforcement for the student reader. The lab manual includes a place for your students to write or sketch, allowing you to use it for a record of everything your student has completed over the year. It’s an amazing and important tool!
