Overview
Physical product returns are acceptable up to 21 days from the date of purchase but are subject to a variable restocking fee. An additional damage fee may apply if returns arrive in non-sellable condition. To avoid a damage fee, please return items in the same style of packaging in which they were received.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method, within 3-5 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund, check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all this and still have not received your refund, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@themysteryofscience.com.
Exchanges
We can also replace items if they are defective. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email evidence of the defective items to info@themysteryofscience.com.
Once an exchange is approved, you should send your item to The Mystery of Science, 3164 Windmill Dr., Adrian, MI 49221.
Shipping Returns
You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance if returning more expensive items. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
